Photo tour program.

From November 22 to November 25 we will travel to a city that reveals its real face once the tourist traffic thins out. When the pavement of the Piazza San Marco shines, washed by rain. When you can go a little farther than the central square of Venice and meet only the local public in Dorsoduro, and see dozens of bridges and canals in San Polo. Each and every one will be breathtaking.

We will behold the view that opens from the Accademia Bridge, watch the sun set over San Giorgio Maggiore, climb the Campanile to enjoy the play of light on the water of the lagoon. We will see the freshly washed laundry in Castello hanging from clotheslines across the street to dry in the sun and wind.

No photo tour to Venice is complete without a walk around Burano. The Island of Burano will greet you with all the colors of the rainbow – a fantastic Venetian island with colorfully painted houses. Its tiny bars will lure you with the aroma of the best coffee in the world, and your experience of authentic Venetian cuisine will be an excellent treat after a busy, exciting day. If you are lucky, you can see flooded Venice and walk around the whole city by raised walkways.

You will see the Island of Murano, famous for its unrivaled glass making, and the understated Torcello – the oldest of the Venetian islands. It is the place of origin of the great Republic of Venice.

What can be better than spending time with like-minded people, admiring all this beauty and learning photography? Together with your instructors, you will travel around Venice and analyze photos, share your impressions and experience. After the tour we will gather once again to view our work. The photo tour to Venice will help you preserve the fond memories of the most romantic city in the world, the crown jewel of Italy for ages. Or it will make you fall in love with it forever and have you come back time and again. Just like me.

Photography program

We will study:

~ architectural photography,

~ landscape and panoramic photography,

~ genre photography,

~ street portrait,

~ peculiarities of evening and night photography,

~ theory and practice in composition for traveling,

~ shooting in difficult lighting conditions.

There will be daily practical exercises during joint photo shoots.

Cost and additional information

Cost of the photo tour: 480 euro

The cost includes: accommodation in a 3-4 star hotel, room for two, breakfast.

Transfer from/to the airport. Medical insurance. Practical and theoretical classes in photography during the photo tour and the final class after the photo tour with the instructor, Ksenia Isakova.

The cost does not include: airline tickets, visa, lunch, dinner.
